Everyone knows that sun exposure is extremely harmful and is the leading cause of skin cancer. It's also 80% of the reason for accelerated aging. Elastin and collagen are two proteins that help keep our skin looking youthful. Elastin, as the name suggests, helps keep the skin elastic, it's what gives skin bounce and resiliency. WHAT IS AIRBRUSH TANNING?
Airbrush tanning is a method of applying a tanning solution, called DHA through a small nozzle attached to an airbrush compressor. The technician will assist you in how to position your body as you stand in a tent in your swim suit, while the airbrush solution lightly coats over your entire body and face, drying almost instantly. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes! Once you are dressed, it is recommended that you do not wet your new tan for the next 8-12 hours. In that time the color will process to a rich, natural bronze that will last you for 5-10 days, and save you the time and hassle of conventional tanning, and keep your skin young and healthy. Is it safe?
YES! DHA is completely safe. (Dihydroxyacetone) is a 3-carbon sugar derived from sugar cane and beets. It is FDA approved as a cosmetic ingredient. DHA works by reacting with dead skin cells during a time-delayed process that slowly darkens your skin's pigment the same way the sun does. There are no harmful side effects. The ingredients are hypo-allergenic, paraben and cruelty-free.Unlike the sun however, DHA only affects the topmost layer of your skin. Whereas the sun penetrates deep within your skins layers, which can cause major skin damage.
